When I was planning my end of year holidays, I knew I wanted to have a tropical Christmas and New Years, so when Crown Tower Perth reached out to me for a stay I decided to start my 2019 there! I arrived on New Years day after a huge countdown party in Bali, checked into the Perth city line view room and ordered myself some room service while I took in the stunning view of the city and got settled in. It was a perfect sunny 30 degrees, I took advantage of that by spending some time by the pool in the private cabana I had prebooked in the Encalve section for a little more privacy.
One of my favourite part of the stay was the excellent variety of restaurants within the resort. The lovely concierge recommended Nobu & Bistro Guillaume for dinner for the two nights we were staying there. We had an amazing experience in both places- Nobu is always a good time, quality sushi and consistent in different cities I've been to(Wagyu dumpling and Miso cod are a must!) while Bistro Guillaume blew my mind with their Cheese souffle and if you're feeling a little adventurous I highly recommend the Chicken liver.
