Bali is one of my absolute favourite beach destination! When I received an invitation from one of a girlfriends for a wedding there I knew I had to take the opportunity to make a romantic getaway out of it. We stayed at the Ayana Spa Resort- and I'm obsessed with this resort, if you keep reading you'll see why.

We got in late that night after the wedding but were welcomed by flowers spelling out ' Welcome to Ayana', a bath filled with beautiful flowers and some local fresh fruits as refreshments. The next day I had made reservations for breakfast(you are required to decide on your meals in advance too) at the famous Rock Bar, I'm pretty sure that the breakfast is only available to hotel guest however from afternoon onwards the public are welcome. After breakfast we took a tour of the resort, it is massive(90-hectare) and there are 12 swimming pools so I highly recommend that you plan your route well. We did an afternoon spa at the Spa on the rocks which literally looked like paradise, it's a spa villa located on their private beach overlooking the ocean. I found 2 of my favourite pools in my short stay there, the River pool and Ocean pool both amazing with of course with amazing photo ops. We had an amazing time at the resort and our only regret was that we didn't book in a few more nights in Bali!
I didn't have time to try out the Cooking classesRomantic dinner
I hope you found this useful if you were looking for a spot for a romantic getaway with your partner x
