Bicky Brew
Tucked away in a nondescript corner, Bicky Brew is a hidden gem that offers handmade pastries and delicious brews. Both the walls of this small cafe and their to-go coffee cups are lined with their signature flamingo motif, the latter of which also make good props for that perfect Instagram photo. I like dropping by for an early morning coffee paired with a croissant - it’s the perfect way to start a working day.

PS Cafe
One of Singapore’s most popular chain of cafes, PS Cafe is one of my favourite establishments to patronise. Not only is their food great, they’re equally known for their interesting and thematic interiors - all of which are very Instagrammable. I recently visited the Raffles City branch and despite being in the heart of the shopping centre, it felt like I was in a cafe in some secluded part of Singapore. Try their Mushroom & Fennel Sausage Conchigile and Truffle Fries, they’re my favourites.

O Batignolles
Another Telok Ayer goodie, O Batignolles has been featured on my page a couple of times to date. It’s not technically a cafe (more of a bistro), but it’s the perfectly place to have a coffee and people watch.

MavRx Coffee Apothecary
For good coffee without the pretension, MavRx Coffee Apothecary is my go-to. It’s yet another hole-in-the-wall cafe with cute wallpaper, but this time more monochromatic. It’s not really the type of place you settle down to do your work in (the only seating available are two benches), but it’s still a great place to get coffee(try their coconut water cold brew) and a picture or two.

Common Man Coffee Roasters
This is one of those cafes that regularly pop up in listicles when you google “Instagrammable Cafes”. And you can really see why once you step into the cafe, they offer a pretty good selection of healthy food options and only uses organic free range eggs!

Island Cafe
Orchard Road can be so overwhelming (there’s just so many people!), so when I need a break, I like to pop into Island Cafe. As millennials like to say, the place is very aesthetic. It’s not usually crowded, which is a huge plus for me.
