My beauty routine

I've found that having a morning routine and following through has helped me enjoy waking up in the morning. I usually get up around 8 or 9am, put on my AM playlist which consist of Tame Impala, Mac Demarco and Daniel Caesar. Then jump straight into the shower while my tea is boiling. I'm currently obsessed with chamomile and I take it with honey, it's caffeine free and really yummy.

After my shower, I tackle my wet hair with my trusty Dyson Supersonic hairdryer. Some days I do a proper blowout with a brush, if I'm feeling lazy I'll use my hair as a brush and do a 10mins quick dry.

In the last year I've come to enjoy my skincare routine because I finally found products that works for me. I thought I would share some of my skincare staples in case you were looking for something new in your routine. Just a little back ground about my skin, I would describe it as a normal skin type, slightly oily around the T zone and I struggle with some dullness. So these are products that have helped with my skin become more vibrant and I find myself wearing a lot less make up than before.

1. Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask.

If I'm not in a rush, I like to do a 15 min face mask while checking my emails and socials on my phone. My skin is literally glowing and feels so soft after this.

2. SK II Essence

This right here is my holy grail, there was once I got to the airport and realized that I didn't bring it with me so I rushed to duty free and grab a bottle right before my flight. The secret ingredient here is pitera- a clear liquid rich in vitamins, amino acids, minerals and organic acids. I'm pretty sure this is my 5th bottle.

3. Skin Inc Serum

Skin Inc is a home grown brand here in Singapore. I've been a fan of their products for a few years now. There are different serums available for different skin types from pigmentation, dull, dehydrated, sun damaged to eczema prone skin. I tend to mix a few different serum to make my perfect skin cocktail.

4. Vaselline

Yes the good old Vaseline. Nobody likes chapped lips, it's just.. unpleasant. Other than my lips I also apply it onto my cuticles and hands sometimes.

5. Loccitane- Immortelle Divine Youth Oil

This is a new product I've been trying out for a few weeks now. I recently found out that oils can penetrate deep into your skin trapping moisture while acting as a barrier to protection against pollutants. Also they act as a good primer for make up!

I've been using 2-3 drops of it every night.
