During my trip earlier in the year, I decided to visit Ubud, Bali- a town that is know for their rainforest, terraced rice paddies and waterfalls. I stayed in an Eco friendly resort tucked away on a little hill that's about 5 mins from the Ubud Centre called Wapa Di Ume. It is the perfect getaway from technology, there's no TV in the room, the only sound you hear is nature and free yoga lessons are available at 8am everyday. Apart from that you could hire a driver for the day to take you to some pretty awesome activities that are also Instagram friendly.

1. The Wheel Bali.
The best description I could come up with for this was 'Tea time with Tarzan'. You get off the car in the middle of nowhere, follow the trail down and there is literally a swing in the jungle tied to trees and an old man serving coffee in a little tent.
Price: $30 usd

2. Tegenungan Waterfall.
On the way to the waterfall, there are small shops where you can purchase bottles of water or a change of clothes if you need. It's about a 10 mins hike down, the stairs pretty steep but I wouldn't say it was too difficult. You can cross a path and go towards a small stairs that will bring you to the top of the waterfall where the view is even nicer!
Price: $2 entrance fee.

3. Wapa Di Ume.
And of course I had to include the resort I was staying in the list. It was filled with insta worthy spots, from the in room breakfast to the infinity pool that's over looking the jungle!
