Valentine’s day, that time of the year to let your hair down and have some fun! Whether you’re spending it with your significant other or your girlfriends (yay for galantines) it always fun to get dolled up and treat yourself.
My weapon of choice this valentines day to tame the frizz and achieve those sexy loose curls is the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer.
It comes with a Smoothing nozzle, Styling concentrator and a Diffuser.
Step 1: Start with damped hair. I prefer starting with hair that is about 80% dry, I usually use a towel and gently dry it or just let it air dry.
Step 2: Prep + brush Always use a heat protecter, damaged hair is never cute. Then gently brush through you hair to make sure there is no tangles.
Step 3: Section your hair Section your hair into two parts(left and right) then start by grabbing smaller sections of your hair from the bottom. and clip up the rest of your hair. Even though working with a smaller section might take longer, I find it easier and you’ll achieve a better result.
Step 4: Use a round brush + styling concentrator Start by putting the round brush on top of your hair and wrapping the piece of hair around it once. Then blow drying your hair from underneath whilst gently bringing to brush to the ends of your hair.
Step 5: Bobby pin Use a bobby pin to hold your hair in place after completely drying it and let the curls set.
Step 6: Repeat Repeat step 4 and 5 until all of the hair is curled and dry and you’re done
Step 7: Set it! Don’t forget to lock all your hard work with a hair spray so your sexy curls last you all day!
